Review of 2011
During 2011 we were involved in -
- Street Church - a praise and preaching ministry in Hunter Square, Edinburgh - taking the Gospel to those who have no intention of going to church.
- John 3.7 - a ministry of witness in the street and of leading people in a prayer of salvation.
- Testimony Evenings - with well known Christian personalities.
- Preaching - various locations, including 'open air' meetings.
- Evangelism advice - to Life Church.
We praise God for all these opportunities to spread His Word.

Alex Arthur, the Edinburgh-based professional boxer was interviewed by Carlo Crolla, the former Hibernian football player. Both attend Life Church where Carlo is an Elder.
Alex was 1998 Commonwealth Games Featherweight Gold medallist and one time World Boxing Organisation super-featherweight title holder. He has won more professional titles than any other Scottish boxer.
He has been a professional boxer since 2000 and held the WBO super featherweight World title for over one year after he beat Koba Gogoladze in 2007. Alex explained that he feels he has a few more years of World class boxing left.

Alex told something of his childhood and how he got into boxing. He recalled how Agnes Scott, now in her 80's and still a regular at Life Church, had introduced him to Jesus. He believes that saved his life from going in the wrong direction.
Alex answered questions from the audience about his boxing and his Christian Faith.
There was a Gospel presentation by Douglas and everyone had a chance to accept Jesus as Saviour or re-dedicate their lives to Him.
After the formal part of the evening, Alex spoke individually with many of the young people present who were keen to have photos taken with him.
Over 80 attended.
